Welcome to our Second IWSG Day of the year 2025.
IWSG is a writers’ support group created and led by Alex J. Cavanaugh.
At IWSG, we believe in the power of sharing and encouragement. Writers of all levels and genres can express their doubts and concerns without fear of judgment. Our community is a haven for all insecure writers!
This group is an immense help to many of us who do not mind sharing our insecurities and successes or giving others encouragement and support.
So, if you’re a writer seeking a supportive community, IWSG is the place for you. Join us and experience the benefits of sharing your journey with like-minded individuals. The link below will lead you directly to us.

YES, INDEED
Yes, Indeed, I have a story that I want to rewrite. It was my first publication from a Canadian Publisher who had just started publishing. I love that story. It was my first baby, but it needs lots of doctoring, and I don't have the time to do that now. In the next two years, I will start the surgical procedures, such as revising, rewriting, etc. Until then, I think about the directions I want to take it in or the dimensions I want to add.
Wishing all of you a wonderful month of February.
Take care and be safe.
Shalom shalom,

I want to revise my first manuscript that I put in a drawer. Like you, I'm hoping to get to it in the next two years.
ReplyDeleteHope you find the time you need to make the story better.
ReplyDeleteHappy IWSG Day, Pat. You've given me something to think about. I have an old manuscript hidden away somewhere. I might just find it and see what happens. Have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteIf it's Canadian, then it must be great. (speaking as a Canadian... hehehe)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you'll do it justice when the time is right. :-)

Rewriting sound daunting. But it's your first, so I get it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful picture of you, Pat! I like how you're planning ahead on how you will rewrite your story. I'm sure that will pay off. Happy ISWG!
ReplyDeleteWhen you have a good idea, it's fun to keep playing with it until you're satisfied. Hope you find time for all that tweaking you have in mind.

Love that picture of you!
ReplyDeleteI see from the comment on several bloggers that they intend to rewrite or tweak their past stories. I'm a bit jealous. They have the advantage of time on their side. I hope to squeeze in one more non-fiction, and the last fiction. But even if I had the time, I don't think I could rewrite the first two novels. I was a sweet young thing. Naïve even. I wish you great success Pat. Blessings :)
