Welcome to our Fourth IWSG Day of the year 2025.
IWSG is a writers’ support group created and led by Alex J. Cavanaugh.
At IWSG, we believe in the power of sharing and encouragement. Writers of all levels and genres can express their doubts and concerns without fear of judgment. Our community is a haven for all insecure writers!
This group is an immense help to many of us who do not mind sharing our insecurities and successes or giving others encouragement and support.
So, if you’re a writer seeking a supportive community, IWSG is the place for you. Join us and experience the benefits of sharing your journey with like-minded individuals. The link below will lead you directly to us.

Wishing Upon A Star
Pinocchio is one of my favorite fantasy characters. There was something magical about listening to him sing When You Wish Upon A Star; it gave me courage to dream, hope, and realize the dreams in my heart. Cliff Edwards's voice interpretation of the song was the best, and it still rings in my heart.
I wish all of you a wonderful April and a lovely Easter.
Take care.

Is the animated version your favorite? There have been several...
ReplyDeleteI remember watching Pinocchio as a kid more than once. Great choice!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet choice! We could all use nose inspiration (nospiration) now and then to keep honest.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter!
ReplyDeleteWhen Disney made movies like Pinocchio (the cartoon), they really knew how to put a great story together. :-)
ReplyDeleteAnna from elements of emaginette
Pinocchio! Perfect. Maybe you could give him some wise council about telling the truth. That would save him a lot of discomfort--that nose!!!
ReplyDeletePinocchio - what a wonderful choice. I never thought to turn to children literature for the answer to this month's question. It seems very refreshing.
ReplyDeleteGreat choice. I love that song from Pinnochio as well. That movie scared me as a child, but I love the message about honesty. Happy Easter to you too!
ReplyDeleteMay your April be filled with colorful blooms!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful song! Sometimes, it still makes me tear up a little.
