IWSG Day, July 3, 2018, My Ultimate Writing Goal, by Pat Garcia

Hello Everyone,

It is the first Wednesday of the month, and IWSG Time.

IWSG is a writer support group created and led by Alex Cavanaugh. It is a big help to many of us who do not mind sharing our insecurities, our successes or giving encouragement and help to others.

So, if you are interested and would like to join, the link below will lead you directly to us:

 My Ultimate Writing Goal

I was pretty young when I started my writing journey. In fact, I was a small child. To be exact, I was three years of age. I had not entered the first year of school, but deep in my heart, I knew I wanted to be a writer. Through the years, I have experienced some ups and downs. The journey has not been easy, but whatever has happened has only intensified the burning urge to write. So, my ultimate writing goal has always been to become a writer who leaves footprints in the world that I leave behind when my journey is ended.

For those of you who have been following my progress on my manuscript that had to be turned in to the Romance Novelist Association of the U.K. for the New Writer Scheme,  I made the deadline I set. The partial manuscript went out Saturday, June 29th at 11:33 a.m.

Wishing everyone in the United States who celebrates July 4th, Happy Independence Day. For the rest of us, who might not celebrate it or not be able to observe it because of whatever reason, I wish you a lovely month of July.

Be Safe and take care of yourselves.

Until next month.

Shalom aleichem,

Pat G

  3. You were three when you knew you wanted to be a writer?! Wow! I have no recollections from that age. I think my writing aspirations took hold in grade 5. Happy IWSG day, Pat! http://www.raimeygallant.com

  14. When I was that young, I remember wanting to be a ballerina. Writing never entered my mind until much later.
