Good Morning, EVERYONE!
Welcome to our fourth IWSG Day of the year, 2023.
IWSG is a writers' support group created and led by Alex Cavanaugh.
Purpose: To share and encourage. Writers can express doubts and concerns without fear of appearing foolish or weak. Those who have been through the fire can offer assistance and guidance. It's a safe haven for insecure writers of all kinds!
This group is an immense help to many of us who do not mind sharing our insecurities and successes or giving others encouragement and support.
So, if you are interested and would like to join, the link below will lead you directly to us.
The awesome co-hosts for the April 5 posting of the IWSG are Jemima Pett, Nancy Gideon, and Natalie Aguirre!
Submissions: None for this month.
MY FIRST BOOK: TURN THE LIGHT ON, (A Short Story)
It took me twelve years to finally get the guts to go after what I wanted, and that was a long-term career in writing the type of stories I like to read.
I stopped hiding, realizing that my actions would transform my life. I have no regrets. If I had to do it again, I would have decided much sooner than I did.
Nothing compares to doing what you know you have been called to do.
Have a lovely month of April, and take care.
It's great that you got the courage to do what your calling is and haven't looked back since. That's a big accomplishment.ReplyDelete
But you're doing it now and that's what matters!ReplyDelete
So true! Following our hearts is important!ReplyDelete
Writing and then putting it out for the public to read does take a lot of courage. You did it, Pat!ReplyDelete
Namaste, Pat. Every time I open your page and see the Eagle, I feel renewed. Have a wonderful day.ReplyDelete
Congratulations on having the guts to follow your dream. Transforming your life through your writing is inspiring. I wish you continued success.ReplyDelete

Yeah, lots of courage is required before we publish our first book. But you did it. And I'm sure you'll do it again.ReplyDelete
Hi Pat. I hope to have this kind of courage some time. Thank you for inspiring.ReplyDelete
